Roots. Blues. Soul.
Eric Litvin has spent years building a musical voice that refuses easy categories — fingerpicking steeped in the blues, songs that earn their endings, and a performer's instinct for when the story inside the music is the only thing left in the room.
A technique built over decades — rooted in the blues, shaped by soul, expressed through a voice that sounds like none of the influences individually and all of them at once.
Songs that start with a single honest image and work outward. Melodies that feel like they were always there, waiting to be found somewhere between Sonoma County and the Delta.
Every song is a story. Eric treats the stage the way a good storyteller treats a room — reading it, earning it, and leaving something behind that wasn't there when he walked in.
"The instrument is just the first language. The second language — the one that actually matters — is what you choose to say with it."
No overdubs, no second takes — just the guitar saying what it came to say. A couple of performances to give you the feel before the booking call.
Eric Litvin is a Sebastopol, California guitarist, songwriter, and storyteller whose work draws from the deep wells of American blues, roots, and soul. Based in Sonoma County, he carries the tradition forward without treating it as a museum piece — the feeling is always first.
His playing draws from a wide source pool: the grit and honesty of the blues, the harmonic depth of soul, the directness of roots music. On stage and on record, those influences fold into something that sounds like none of them individually — and all of them at once.

Decades of playing mean a working knowledge of what to reach for when the song calls for "something rawer" or "a little more shimmer." Eric's rig has grown from a single guitar into a considered collection built around one question: what does this song need right now?
